I’m an avid motorcyclist with 40+ years of experience and 100+ bikes owned (20 currently in the stable as of 1/18/2021). I collect and ride all kinds of motorcycles and scooters, so I don’t have any brand or genre-specific prejudices. Riding is a lifestyle for me, and I enjoy sharing my experiences, both good and bad, about the sport.
I usually commute for work by motorcycle around the greater Houston, TX metro area, so that comprises the bulk of my riding. I practice the “work hard, play hard” mantra, so I’ll usually take 8-10 short road trips per year (3-5 days long) and another 4-5 bigger trips (8+ days long). I prefer to moto-camp for the duration of those events so I can get the most out of the experience. Without difficulty or challenges, it’s just commuting.
My intention for this community is to share the ups and downs of riding, touring, and moto-camping by motorcycle. I hope that others will join in the conversation and share in the adventures!
